Supporting a Safe, Secure, Sustainable Food Supply in Asia through Plant Science
Crop Protection
Crop protection products, commonly referred to as pesticides or agrochemical products are either naturally occurring or man-made (synthetic) chemicals that help farmers grow more food from less land by protecting crops from big losses to pests and diseases and raising productivity per hectare. With a growing global population that is projected to rise to around 10 billion by 2050, crop protection products offer a means to meet the challenge of growing more from with less.
Regulatory Affairs
CropLife Asia supports an innovation-friendly regulatory environment that promotes both environmental protection and human safety. The organization believes that sound regulation will provide an avenue for farmers to access key plant science technologies and encourage sustainability practices in agricultural communities.
Anti-Counterfeiting and Intellectual Property
Anti-Counterfeiting (ACF) and Intellectual Property (IP)
