CropLife Asia teaches farmers to exercise care in disposing of empty pesticide containers to meet health and environmental goals and comply with local and national regulations. Appropriate disposal of product containers—including triple rinsing practices as well as recycling or destruction options—is part of of our extended responsible-use training programmes.

In our lifecycle approach to stewardship, container management options begin with research and design of containers, continuing through training of distributors, retailers and farmers, and finally, support of disposal and recycling options.
